Virtual Company Make a Live Appearance!

The directors of 247virtual recently joined 130 fellow exhibitors at the Business South 2008 show in Southampton.  Their aim was to showcase the wide variety of internet technologies currently available to businesses and to advise businesses on how to integrate these into their business operations in order to improve productivity and efficiency.

Founded in 2005 by David Vane, a Hampshire businessman, 247virtual now specialises in advising companies and organisations on how to make the most of flexible and remote working, helping staff work from home more efficiently and productively.

“Organisations such as BT already have thousands of employees working from home,” he said. “It is not just a soft option for staff, but a genuinely efficient alternative.  Many companies are rejecting the idea of being based in large and expensive headquarter buildings. Now, smaller enterprises can take advantage of the financial benefits of remote working.”

David was joined by fellow directors Carolyn Fujii and David Webb at the show.  Carolyn was impressed by the interest generated and commented “A number of visitors are very concerned about their carbon footprint.  Others are frustrated by the amount of time they spend travelling.   247virtual can tailor solutions for businesses to reduce travelling and carbon output”.
