ABC trainers
The problem:
ABC trainers had a team of trainers working all over the UK but
needed to see each other's diaries to arrange joint appointments. As
they all worked from home they did not have a centralised network to
provide calendar sharing. This meant that they were missing
appointments and had to spend a lot of time phoning and sending
emails to arrange meetings.
The solution:
A Virtual Office with calendar sharing which enabled better
communication by -
- enabling the main office receptionist to see all the
trainer's diaries and make appointments and send reminders
directly to their emails
- each trainer used as simple synchronise facility each day to
send and receive new appointments
- each trainer had access to the other trainer's calendars in
their area and could see when they were available for meetings.
- The manager could see each trainer's workload and arrange a
visit to suit their location and time slot
The extra benefit: We also set up a document sharing so
that any revised triaging material could be downloaded from the
Virtual office. This meant that everyone was using the same up to
date material.
